Some of my favorite things this Fall
Local to Lexington, I’m in love with this store’s olive oils, balsalmic vinegars, and sea salts. Infused with different flavors such as Blood Orange, Tuscan Herb, and Wild Mushroom & Sage, these oils and vinegars are fantastic for instantly livening up any meal. I love putting their Grapefruit White Balsalmic and Milanese Gremolata Olive Oil on a simple green salad.
2. The Body Book: The Law of Hunger, the Science of Strength, and Other Ways to Love Your Amazing Body
I love and agree wholeheartedly with Cameron Diaz’s philosophy on the inseparable link of nutrition and our bodies, and the importance of nourishing ourselves inside and out. The information is laid out in a very well organized and easy to understand way, and is definitely worth the read.
I found it IMPOSSIBLE to find a tinted moisturizer that was free of toxins, but actually provided good coverage….until I found Beautycounter. This product goes on incredibly smooth and natural – and doesn’t have any nasty ingredients like most makeup on the market today. Even Allure magazine named it as one of the best ones out there!
I’m loving all things brass-ish gold right now for the kitchen, and I really have my eye on this serving set from Anthropologie. I love the slender handles with the pyramid bottom mixed with the oversized tops. How perfect would these be for holiday entertaining!
I discovered these necklaces when I was at Kathryn Budig’s Downward Facing Riverdog event in Charleston earlier this month. Maggie Kyle hand stamps and shapes each of these gold bar necklaces, which are perfect to wear on their own or layered with other necklaces. You can buy these stamped with messages such as “let go”, “wanderlust”, or “aim true” – or she can customize any phrase you prefer.
I would love to hear what you are loving this fall! Let me know in the comments below.
